Classroom environment

In our center we have a classroom where we develop the following activities:

►Brief activity description

The Son Reus Municipal Health Center carry out a few jobs that require a special cooperation of the people: The recovery of injured wild birds, breeding in captivity of the black vulture, the insertion of pets to the human environment, the prevention of urban plagues. etc

This programme is the result of the collaboration between the health and environment area, Educational dynamics Department of the Town Council and the environmental Ministry of the Balearic Islands Government which try to inform children of the different ways of action in connection with fauna and flora both urban and wild.

►Educational levels which are aimed

The activity is aimed to second and third primary education cycle, secondary education, high school, special education and adult education.

► Timetable

The activity is a morning long (from 9:00 to 12:30H ),Tuesday and Thursday. Meeting place: Son Reus Municipal Halth Center, Soller road, km 8

► Observation / Conditions

The maximum number of students per visit is 60. the material will be delivered at the Son Reus Municipal health center. Teacher will take responsibility for their group / class and will pay special attention to the students don't put in their hands in the animal cages . children mustn't provide any kind of food to the animals of the center. Teachers eill watch children only deposit waste and snack wroppers in the bins installed in the center.
