Stray animals

Daily we pick up stray or abandoned dogs that roam the Palma Municipal District and they are transferred to our facilities.

Opening hours from 9h to 13:30h from Moday to Friday and from 9h to 12h Saturday.

To recover a lost animal:   

1. If the animal has a microchip (a. abandoned), the owner must go in person to our facilities with the DNI and the dog's documents ( health passport and microchip discharge document) and taxes will have to be paid for transport and maintenance.
   owners of these animals have a period of 8 days from its communication to recover them. After this time the animal will be offered for adoption or will be put to sleep.
2. In the event of the animal does not have a microchip (stray) the owner goes in person with the DNI and some document to prove the animal belongs to him/her (health passport, photograph) and a tax will have to be paid for transport, maintenance, microchip implantation and rabies vaccine if necessary.
   Owners have a period of 15 days to recover it, after this time the animal will be offered for adoption or will be put to sleep.
